PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is an ecological polyester, ie thermoplastic in the form of transparent, white, milky, non-reflective plates that can be UV-stable if necessary.
Types of PET boards:
PET-G (VIVAK or VERALIT 200) boards - made of thermoplastic copolyester. They can be used for food packaging and are completely recyclable. They do not contain halides or cadmium and are flammable. They can be thinner than other transparent materials. They retain transparency during heating. Five plates do not contain UV stabilizers. For products that require longer exposure to external influences, UV plates are recommended.
VIVAK DESIGN panels - transparent material, matte on both sides, easily shaped by heating. The surface of the plate remains matte even after extrusion.
APET (AXPET or VERALIT100) boards - neutral thermoplastic PET boards. They can be used for food packaging and can be completely recycled. They do not contain UV stabilizers, but can be adapted for short-term use outdoors.
